Job Summary:We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Underground Construction Laborer to support residential fiber optic installation projects. This full-time role involves manual labor and teamwork... in underground construction environments, including hand digging, assisting with horizontal directional drilling (HDD), and performing site restoration. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, physically capable, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions as part of a crew.Key Responsibilities:? Perform manual excavation, including hand digging within tolerance zones, in full compliance with state excavation laws and 811 locate requirements? Assist with Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) operations, including conduit pullback? Support the crew in all phases of underground fiber optic installation in residential areas? Safely place and set vaults, pedestals, and related underground equipment? Follow construction specifications closely and maintain a high level of compliance with project standards?
