Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to join a power generation company located in Glastonbury, CT. This person will have an electrical controls background and will be joining... the Electrical and Controls Engineering group. The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of relevant professional experience. Day to day, this person will perform controls engineering and consulting services. Main responsibilities will include working with the team to create reliable and secure instrumentation and controls system solutions for Generating stations and its ancillary equipment. Projects range in size and complexity from small utility generating station upgrades to large turnkey power plant construction. The ideal candidate will have experience on Woodward Control Systems such as Woodward Micronet plus, Woodward Flex 500 Controls and Woodward software editor Gap 1, Gap 2, Gap 3, Gap 4 programming and commissioning experience.
