A client of Insight Global is looking for an accountant to support their asset management team. Daily responsibilities will be around lease and asset management work. This is a fully remote role but... will need to reside in Winston-Salem or surrounding areas. Additional responsibilities of this accounting include:?Perform lease accounting in compliance with ASC 842 guidelines, including accounting for lease transactions and rent expense for financial reporting.?Manage the asset lifecycle by reviewing expenses, determining capitalization requirements, and recording assets appropriately.?Prepare and review journal entries (JEs), perform account reconciliations, and assist with month-end close activities to ensure accuracy of postings.?Provide customer service to internal departments regarding asset changes and policy interpretation.?Collaborate professionally and assertively to communicate and enforce accounting policies.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
