Network Engineer OverviewThe role of the Operations group includes installing and maintaining network, telephony, server, production storage systems and related systems and services; maintaining the... security of computers, networks, and their data; maintaining adequate infrastructure performance levels; and planning for and implementing new or enhanced technologies. This position installs, maintains and evaluates network systems and communications. Troubleshoots the most complex network issues. Conducts research and analysis regarding new technology, network traffic, potential security risks, etc. Responsible for planning and achieving implementation project goals and objectives. Gives input into developing the budget. Advises and directs work teams, providing a leadership role for the work group through deep knowledge of networking.
