A large Energy Company is looking for a Business Analyst in the Houston, Texas area to join the Crude and Products IT Delivery Team. ?The Business Analyst will join a rather large team with a mix of... people in Houston and India. This person will be brought on due to an influx in project work and?company growth over the next couple of years which is driving additional headcount for the team. ?The Business Analyst will be heavily involved in the ETRM upgrade that kicks off next year. The company is planning to move from version 14 to version 26 for their Crude business. Their Crude business is currently in version 11 with no immediate plans to upgrade next year. The Products business is their primary focus. The Business Analyst will focus on deep Front Office applications, specifically the deal capture processes and Middle Office applications focused on They will need system integration knowledge and be able to model physical and financial contracts through Endur. This is a typical Business Analyst position where they will gather requirements, translate the documentation and work with the developers through the testing and deployment. The Business Analys needs to have worked in a large enterprise environment and have the ability to communicate with stakeholders, technical developers, etc. The Endur System is highly customized with potential plans to reduce the custom code over the next couple of years. They are currently on-prem and running on oracle 19 database. They are a hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery environment running 8-10 week release cycles.
