In this role you?ll be doing stress focused testing on products such as thermostats, smoke alarms & detectors, control panels and security safety products. These products are primarily low voltage, therefore prior low voltage testing experience will help you be successful on this team. In this role your duties will consist of 80% lab work and 20% administrative and data focused work. To be successful on this team you must have prior experience with EMC Testing, specifically electrical testing and troubleshooting experience. You also must have an engineering degree, specifically an electrical or mechanical focused engineering degree is preferred. This is a contract-to-hire role with the potential to convert based on performance. This team sits in Melville, NY, therefore you must be able to commute to their Melville location 5 days/week to adhere to their in office requirements.
