Insight Global is looking for a Plant Manager to work at one of our leading chemical manufacturing clients. This position is responsible for ethically managing safe & responsible operations of the... manufacturing facility such that the customer receives timely delivery of quality product. This Plant Manager will engage the workforce to improve efficiency, reduce cost and create a culture of continuous improvement. They will also leverage the site team and other resources in the company to implement capital projects that improve health, safety & sustainability, address infrastructure needs, reduce cost, support new product development and enable growth and capacity to meet the needs of the business. This Plant Manager will be in charge of process improvement, capital project management, process safety management and overall growth of the plant. . The plant typically operates on a 24/7 schedule with 24-hour coverage during operation. Additional requirements/tasks for the Plant Manager include understanding compliance requirements associated with CFR 1910.119 (Process Safety Management of Highly Hazardous Chemicals), maintaining timely delivery of products that meet customer quality standards, and leveraging resources to continuously improve all aspects of operationssafety, sustainability, quality, delivery, cost, and efficiency. The Plant Manager will also establish a Daily Management System to track and report critical operational key performance indicators (KPIs) and be prepared to review these with business and division management as needed. This position is at the Chemical site in Gainesville, Florida and reports directly to the Vice President of Operations for the Chemical Division in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
