We are looking for a Packaging Engineer to join the team immediately in McLean, VA. This will be a fully onsite role, from 8:30AM - 5PM, Monday - Friday. This role requires direct, hands-on supply... chain experience. You must understand the full path a product takes ? planning, sourcing, fabrication, logistics, delivery, and support ? and be able to keep a project moving through every stage. As a Packaging / Supply Chain Systems Engineer, you?ll work with a cross-functional team to develop the product and manage its movement through the entire cycle.What You?ll Do:? Support planning activities, including estimating, BOM creation, scheduling, routing, and early technical scoping? Build and refine 2D/3D models using PTC Creo, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, and Windchill? Evaluate suppliers, qualify vendors, and support procurement with technical requirements? Manage sourcing: pricing, lead times, POs, BAA/COO compliance, QC documentation, and vendor performance?
