Provide feedback on value-engineering options and escalate unresolved items to the Project Steering Team (PST). Discuss Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plans with the OPM Project Manager (PM) & Construction Manager (CM) to determine contractor qualifications, licenses, required certificates, and the installation testing plan. Offer timely recommendations on key areas impacting long-term building operations and maintenance. Review Commissioning Scope of Work and Testing Plan, including the Commissioning RFP and schedule of commissioning activities, and review the Commissioning issues log. Review the integrated Project Construction Schedule, including milestone and detailed events. Set quality expectations by participating in coordination meetings, reviewing coordination drawings and BIM models (where used), and discussing installation methods. Review the Site Logistics Plan to ensure access to existing facilities, utilities, and campus occupants. Conduct on-site construction progress reviews and conformance checks with approved construction documents, performing walk-throughs as needed and participating in monthly walk-throughs with the PM & CM.
