Operators will load pallets & deburr while machine is in cycle to maximize utilization.Our client is a specialized team serving as a trusted partner to the federal government. They help modernize U.S. military installations, Department of Defense and other federal agency facilities to be smarter, more resilient, efficient, sustainable, and secure. Daily operations include working from complex drawings, process sheets, instructions, visual display units, tool management PC, reading and understanding CNC programs, planning and coordination of available jobs and pallet stations to maximize machine utilization, managing the machines automatic tool changer systems, equipped with 100+ position automatic tool change system, PC based tool management/preset system, part probe, broken tool detection, adaptive control and horsepower monitor and is DNC linked. Setup and loading of large production parts and heavy fixtures to the pallet stations internal to machining operations using appropriate material handling equipment, ladders and work platforms. Use all types of precision measuring instruments including but not limited to ID and OD micrometer, calipers, depth gages, height gages, bore gages, plug and ring gauges. Deburring internal to machining operations. Use of hand and power tools, general housekeeping, completion of Preventative Maintenance (PM) checklists and machine downtime logs. Assist maintenance tech in the PM of the machine as required.
