The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in VMware technologies, Windows Server administration, virtualization performance management, and secure DoD environments.Essential Responsibilities?Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual machine lifecycle management.?Manage VMware clusters leveraging High Availability (HA), Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), vMotion, and Storage vMotion technologies.?Monitor and optimize virtual infrastructure performance, including CPU, memory, storage, and network utilization.?Perform VMware infrastructure upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management in accordance with security and operational requirements.?Support and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and certificate services.?Perform system hardening, STIG implementation, vulnerability remediation, and cybersecurity compliance activities.?Troubleshoot Tier II and Tier III issues related to virtualization, Windows Server, storage, networking, and enterprise applications.?Manage and support SAN/NAS storage systems, VMware datastores, and virtual networking components.?Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, diagrams, standard operating procedures, and configuration management records.?Collaborate with cybersecurity, engineering, and operations teams to ensure system availability, security, and performance.?Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior administrators and support personnel.?Participate in system maintenance windows, incident response activities, and operational support requirements.Compensation: $55/hr to $57/hr.
