Engineering compliance: Interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications to validate conformance to design requirements and tolerance levels. First Article Inspection (FAI): Perform and document FAIs in accordance with AS9102 standards to validate initial production meets customer specifications. Precision measurement: Use advanced tools such as CMM, borescopes, micrometers, and calipers to validate high-precision tolerances. Documentation & traceability: Record data and maintain accurate quality records (logs, reports, CoCs), ensuring full traceability for every inspected part; review shop job packages. Discrepancy reporting: Identify and document nonconformances (NCRs) and partner with Quality Engineering, Engineering, and Production on corrective actions or rework recommendations.
