The Senior Hoist Engineer provides technical leadership, engineering authority, and lifecycle stewardship for shaft infrastructure and hoisting systems at an underground potash mining operation. This role is accountable for the safe, reliable, and compliant design, operation, inspection, maintenance, and modernization of shafts, headframes, hoists, conveyances, and associated safety systems. The position works closely with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, and Regulatory teams to ensure production continuity, personnel safety, asset integrity, and long term performance of critical shaft and hoisting assets. The site operates two of the largest production friction (Koepe) hoists currently in service, requiring senior level Engineer oversight. The Senior Hoist Engineer provides technical leadership, engineering... authority, and lifecycle stewardship for shaft infrastructure and hoisting systems at an underground potash mining operation. This role is accountable for the safe, reliable, and compliant design, operation, inspection, maintenance, and modernization of shafts, headframes, hoists, conveyances, and associated safety systems. The position works closely with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, and Regulatory teams to ensure production continuity, personnel safety, asset integrity, and long term performance of critical shaft and hoisting assets. The site operates two of the largest production friction (Koepe) hoists currently in service, requiring senior level Engineer oversight.
