Insight Global is seeking a qualified Network Engineer in support of one of our large federal clients in Norfolk, VA. This candidate will be supporting mission-critical network operations onboard a... ship, ensuring optimal performance of network infrastructure in highly dynamic, real-world environments. Their day to day will include but is not limited to supporting and troubleshooting network systems, managing connectivity and security, and enabling medical and operational systems to function effectively. A qualified candidate will have experience with enterprise networking, healthcare IT environments, and secure, high-availability systems.- Supporting shipboard network operations across multiple secured enclaves - Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco networking, firewalls, and wireless systems - Managing SATCOM connectivity and medical device network integrations- Supporting Windows Server, Linux systems, and end-user environments - Ensuring cybersecurity compliance and supporting security initiatives- Providing mission-critical IT support in high-pressure operational environmentsCompensation: $50.48/hr - $57.69/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
