Insight Globals client is looking for a long-term Data Architect/ Principal Data Engineer contractor to join their team in downtown Cincinnati to help launch their new Machine Learning Data team at... Fifth Third Bank. This individual will play a key role in shaping how we serve data to power model development and deployment across the bank, especially within our Data Science space. Were looking for someone with deep experience in modern data engineering ideally with a strong command of SQL, Snowflake, and dbt. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, curious about new ways to solve old problems, and energized by the opportunity to work cross-functionally with data scientists, product owners, and business teams.A successful candidate will be self-directed, thoughtful, and collaborative someone whos just as comfortable designing a scalable architecture as they are jumping in to troubleshoot a failing job. Experience with machine learning pipelines, feature engineering, or feature stores is a huge plus. Experience in highly regulated industries like banking, finance, or healthcare is preferred. This is a hands-on role with high visibility and high impact.
