A client of Insight Global?s in the technology & retail industry is currently hiring a Program Manager II for an initial 11 month contract to perform & lead site audits for Operations Readiness... Testing. This person will be traveling to rural cities to perform testing & validation at sites once construction and development is complete before sites can become operational. This role will involve familiarity with the basics of controls/automation/PLCs and will be responsible for using this knowledge to confirm site readiness and ensure the proper configuration of technology across the site for successful operations. They will be responsible for leading the testing as well as assisting in the audit and will leverage operators familiar with the buildings to score the building; does the building fit the specs that were designed. This role will require strong communication & the ability to gain trust & create partnerships quickly as they will be working with different internal stakeholders each week. Each PM will be responsible for managing a handful of projects a given time and will be engaged roughly 60 days from testing to start preparation and planning work with site leaders, then will travel to their assigned sites to physically oversee the testing. The travel schedule will be roughly 80% - Monday to Friday with a typical day being a standard 8-5.
