As... part of the I&C CAD team, you will work on projects related to municipal water and wastewater treatment plants, including but not limited to major treatment plant expansions, regional water quality studies, and critical water reuse projects that will create sustainable and resilient water supplies for the world. This person will be responsible for a variety of project elements, including drafting and design using CADWorx, along with assessing data using intellegent P&IDs to help integrate information across disciplines. Secondary tools that will be used are Plant3D and SmartPlant. The majority of this person's time will be spent drafting 2D schematics for I&C layouts, and coordinating with project leads and engineers. They will spend about 15% of their time in I&C team meetings to coordinate workflow, project meetings for timeline updates, and CAD meetings across disciplines to coordinate different projects. This role will require a basic understanding of data driven layouts, schematics and models, or a willingness to complete certifications/courses prior to starting to understand the basics of this type of drafting and modeling. This role will be a 6-month contract-to-hire model, with the primary goal being a permanent conversion. This role can pay anywhere between $35-$40/hr, with permanent conversion salary coming in at or above that rate.
