Job Description
One of Insight Global's Engineering Services partners is seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Designer to support a new $60M petrochemical project. This is a key project leadership role focused on managing electrical design deliverables and coordinating project execution. The successful candidate will join a small, collaborative electrical team consisting of approximately four designers and engineers.
• Lead electrical design efforts for a large-scale petrochemical project
• Develop and review electrical design packages and drawings
• Utilize AutoCAD 2D/3D and 3D modeling tools for project execution
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams
• Manage project deliverables, schedules, and technical design activities
• Support occasional travel to project sites in Arkansas (10%)

Required Skills & Experience
• 15+ years of experience as an Electrical Designer
• Proven experience serving as a Lead Electrical Designer on projects
• Must come from Engineering Services industry or the plant side of oil & gas industry (not tech or power)
• Project Experience: Small to mid-cap work. Downstream, Petrochem, etc.
• Electrical Design experience
• Strong project leadership skills (managing project execution, not people management)
• Experience with AutoCAD 2D and 3D
• Strong 3D modeling experience
• Stable work history preferred (will consider all qualified candidates)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Associate's Degree or related technical education
