An employer is looking for a Proposal Specialist in Ballwin, MO for one of the largest telecom providers in the nation. They will be working on the Rural Digital Opportunity Fund (RDOF) program (a... More government subsidized program that will bring high speed fixed broadband service to rural homes and small businesses that lack it) and the E-Rate program (government subsidized program in which public schools & libraries bid for Request for Proposals (RFPs) for telecommunication services). The proposal specialists will have to validate the bids by analyzing: the address, the services and requirements (can their company provide those services?), the risks, etc. They will have to request site surveys through Salesforce so the Construction team can assess the fiber construction and costs. They will then partner work with a sales rep to game plan a response to the bid. If they want to respond and move forward with the bid, the Proposal Specialist will create the template for the RFP. This role will require data entry skills and good communication skills. This role will be performed 100% in office in Ballwin.
