General Scope: The ERP Developer I/II is responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining electronic data interchange (EDI) and application programming interface (API) solutions to support... seamless communication between Infor ERP system and external customer, vendor, and internal business systems. This role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, system reliability, and process automation through technical integrations and ERP enhancements. The developer will also learn and apply Infor?s Java-based development platform to support customizations and integrations that align with business needs.Position Summary:EDI and API Integration? Develop, configure, and maintain EDI integrations between the Infor ERP system and external customer or vendor systems.? Analyze and implement EDI transaction sets (e.g., 850, 855, 856, 810, etc.) according to trading partner specifications.? Collaborate with business analysts, customers, and IT staff to design and implement integration solutions that meet functional and technical requirements.? Develop and manage API integrations for system-to-system data exchange, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.? Troubleshoot integration issues and perform root cause analysis to resolve mapping, transmission, or data synchronization errors.ERP Development and Integration? Learn and develop proficiency in Infor?s Java-based developer platform to create, enhance, and maintain ERP extensions and business logic.? Assist in the customization of ERP workflows, forms, and reports to improve usability and automation.? Support integrations between Infor ERP and other enterprise systems (CRM, PLM, MES, etc.).? Participate in version upgrades, patch testing, and deployment activities related to ERP integrations.Technical Support and Documentation? Monitor data flow between systems to ensure stability, integrity, and accuracy.? Develop and maintain technical documentation, including interface specifications, data flow diagrams, and configuration guides.? Provide second-level technical support for ERP and integration-related issues.?
