The position is responsible for oversight of commercial construction loans, including the review of budgets, draw requests, on-site inspections, and moving construction loans from the draw phase to the end loan phase. The CCLPM will work closely with borrowers, builders, internal credit teams and executive leadership to drive prudent growth, member service excellence, and effective management of the construction loan portfolio. Job functions:-Works with borrowers, builders and developers to manage construction loan processes, including reviewing construction budgets, draw requests, work completed by on-site inspectors and appraisers, and work completed by title companies involved with construction loans. (20%)-Ensure all required documentation related to the construction component of new loans is obtained prior to loan closing, including but not limited to construction and architect/engineers contracts, construction budgets, municipal approvals, and permits, builders risk insurance, and other documentation required by policy and credit approval. Ensures proper policies, procedures, risk mitigation activities, and operating controls are followed. (20%)-Monitor and report on commercial construction loan portfolio performance, delinquency and loss trends, loan risk ratings, and market conditions. (10%)-Proactively identifies at-risk loan relationships through ongoing portfolio monitoring efforts, including delinquency monitoring, covenant performance, lien and lawsuit monitoring, insurance monitoring and monitoring payment of real estate taxes. Assists with administering loan workouts and asset preservation plans. (10%)-Recommend policy, management practice, or procedural changes as needed. (5%)-Maintain adherence to all state and federal regulations governing the commercial construction loan process and assist compliance, legal, and internal audit teams with regulatory examinations and internal/external audits.
