Summary:The main function of a hardware prototype engineer is to research, design, develop, test high-density, wearable electronics. The candidate will work with emerging technologies in a fast-paced team.Job Responsibilities:? Review and approve plan layout, including creating new designs and modifications of existing designs.? Review and approve product prototypes, working models or theoretical models constructed with computer simulation.? Write detailed functional specifications and design flow/tradeoff.? Support new technology introduction.? Act as a subject matter expert to engineering staff and consult specifications to evaluate interface between hardware and software and operational and performance requirements of overall system.? Provide training and support to system designers and users.? Design and develop hardware and support peripherals, including system-on-chip (SoC), support logic, microprocessors, custom integrated circuits, and system interconnection.? Direct technicians, engineering designers or other technical support personnel as needed.?
