Responsibilities:Interface with cross-functional teams (design engineering, GA process ME, operations, quality engineering, and supply chain) to review the manufacturing feasibility of product... designs in General Assembly to deliver on best-in-class cost, function, and quality metrics.Provide detailed equipment recommendation for part or all line conveyances, on ground/overhead structures, product transfers, and overall flow for subassembly and/or main assembly lines that is the best for cost, maintenance, product assembly, design for manufacturing (DFM), and overall total cost of ownership (TCO).Develop process documentation and project planning documents like Request for Quotes (RFQs), project timeline charts, assembly sequence flows, PFMEAs, Quality Control Plans, technical standards, and CAPEX/OPEX analyses.Support the development and introduction of processes and equipment associated with early prototype builds and highlight key process and equipment improvement opportunities for the final production lines.
