The Technical Consultant is responsible for Implementing and supporting an assigned portfolio of Clinical Ancillary Applications within one of our largest healthcare clients in Manhattan. They will be responsible for conducting day-to-day communication, monitoring, and maintaining applications. We are looking for someone who demonstrates a deep understanding of clinical operations, and works with vendors, project teams, and the clients Clinical Representatives/Subject Matter Experts, and end users to tailor the system to fit the organizations needs. They will routinely perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with the use of Clinical Ancillary systems. They will be responsible for developing and documenting the internal procedures that will be used in conjunction with assigned Clinical Ancillary applications. They will design, build, test, install, train and maintain those solutions. Having experience with Sterile Processing, Food Services, Temperature Monitoring (SPM, CBORD, Elpro etc.) is highly preferred but any ancillary system knowledge is acceptable. We need someone with experience working with cross functional teams (Servers, Network Security, Interfaces etc.) and willing to come onsite at least 3-4 days a week or whatever is required for the project at that time. Provide IT technical support on a variety of issues for typical office work as well as manufacturing plants. The individual would have limited supervision in day-to-day efforts, responding as... necessary to immediate support requests while also identifying and implementing longer term projects. This position may resolve routine issues but is expected to engage, advise and assist other IT teams/Plant management on solution recommendations and/or implementations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Utilizes the Service Management tool to enter, track and maintain requests through completionRespond to phone, email, and in person requests for assistanceIdentifies and addresses trends in support issues and corrects the root cause.Interact with customers (internal and external) with a friendly and professional attitude, and work with them to improve department successInvolved with projects throughout planning, design/ development activities, and execution.
