Job Description:?A client of Insight Global is looking for?a hands-on Lead Front End Engineer to support and enhance their multi-brand digital platform. This individual will serve as both an... individual contributor and team lead, responsible for driving platform enhancements, delivering new features, solving complex technical problems, and leading developers within the team. The role requires strong ownership, accountability, and collaboration across cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers, governance, and quality assurance. This position will work directly under the guidance of a Director and will prioritize production stability and continuous platform improvement.Day to Day:?- Spend approximately 60% of time on hands-on engineering, including design, development, troubleshooting, and production support.- Allocate approximately 40% of time to leadership responsibilities, including planning, coaching, code reviews, and cross-team collaboration.- Provide technical direction, mentorship, and coaching to team members, ensuring high engineering standards and consistent delivery.- Collaborate closely with project managers (approximately 10%)?to align on requirements, timelines, and delivery expectations.- Conduct code reviews (approximately 10%)?to ensure quality, performance, security, and adherence to best practices.- Participate in team planning, technical design discussions, and coaching (approximately 20%)?to support delivery and professional growth.- Partner with the backend governance team and engineering peers?to support the overall health, scalability, and evolution of the platform.- Work cross-functionally with architects, project managers,?direct management, and QA teams to ensure successful delivery and alignment with architectural standards.- Take full ownership and accountability?for assigned deliverables, technical decisions, and outcomes.- Stay current with the latest technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices, continuously identifying opportunities to improve the platform and development framework.- Actively troubleshoot and resolve production issues, which take priority when they arise, and help drive solutions through to resolution.- Ensure high standards for reliability, performance, and maintainability across the platform.Compensation:? $68/hr to $70/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
