The Facility operates over 150 different utility systems that include chemicals, gasses, variety of electrical systems, water systems, HVAC, waste, vacuum, and controls. Facilities works closely with their manufacturing team to understand how the utility systems impact the process as well as how to reduce consumption.The successful candidate will be proficient in electrical safety, industrial control and SCADA systems including setup, programming and operation of industrial programmable logic controllers (PLC), associated peripheral equipment such as power supplies, communication cards, discreet and analog inputs/output (I/O) cards and field instrumentation. In addition, a strong knowledge of system architecture and network requirements and security is required to ensure reliable operation. It is expected that they have an understanding of requirements and limitations in the following key expertise areas:Responsibilities include:? Designing, installing and operating PLC controllers and field instruments to include PLC programming, installation and calibration of various types of instruments for continuous operation and accurate and reliable data collection of various building utility systems.? Ability to troubleshoot control systems due to unstable operations or equipment failure and remedy the problem via equipment replacement and/or modifying PLC loop tuning parameters and/or programming to improve system performance.?
