Insight Global is seeking a Python / AI Engineer to support our large reinsurance client within their Data & AI Services team. This engineer will contribute to two core projects focused on... enterprise-wide adoption of AI technologies. The first project involves building a cross-document AI chat solution. This application enables users to interact with an intelligent assistant that can search, retrieve, summarize, and synthesize content from multiple documents simultaneously. The initial implementation has been deployed within the legal team, and the next phase involves scaling the solution to other departments with a strong focus on secure, multi-tenant access. The second initiative is focused on AI-assisted document ingestion. This solution will automatically extract, process, and structure data from diverse document formats (PDFs, Word files, scanned images, etc.), enabling seamless downstream integration into enterprise systems and workflows. The engineer will contribute across the full development lifecycle, including designing and implementing backend logic (primarily in Python and C#), integrating with Azure cloud services, building scalable AI pipelines, and deploying production-ready solutions in a secure and compliant environment. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including data scientists, product owners, and DevOps engineers is expected. All development occurs within a modern Azure ecosystem, and the successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing AI capabilities across the organization.
