This role is hands-on, shop-adjacent, and works closely with mechanics, superintendents, and equipment coordinators to keep equipment safe, available, and cost-effective.Responsibilities:Manage and support 3 mechanics in Dallas plus remote mechanics in San Antonio and TulsaOversee daily shop operations, work orders, repair prioritization, and equipment readinessManage Baker-owned equipment and outside rentals; monitor utilization and downtimePartner with superintendents and field teams to resolve jobsite equipment issuesReview rental, maintenance, and utilization reports; understand cost vs. revenueAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and CapEx planning for fleet rotationOversee inventory accuracy and support implementation of inventory management systemsEnsure safety, documentation, and Baker equipment standards are consistently followedWork closely with the Equipment Coordinator and purchasing/WO support staffWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
