You will translate global compute guidelines into clear, site-specific requirements, acting as the primary voice of global standards for U.S. and Canada locations.On a daily basis, you will collaborate closely with general contractors and trade partners, guiding them on how infrastructure should be installed and validating that construction aligns with approved designs. You will produce detailed technical documentation that enables project managers to execute and track progress with vendors. As sites move through construction and remodel phases, you will periodically travel onsite to review architectural plans, walk facilities, and confirm that the physical infrastructure matches the approved specifications, providing clear acceptance or correction guidance when needed. More current and future needs of the client. The server room or MDF (Multiple Distribution Frame) and IDF (Individual Distribution Frame) locations will be partially or completely renovated. This role is designed to partner with numerous stakeholders simultaneously to construct an MDF and one or more IDF?s in new Field site locations. During the project, there will be specific milestones that need to be met, managing simultaneous conflicting priorities, ambiguity, rapid changing environments, and selecting travel to the sites. This role is designed to deliver Server and Network main distribution frame (MDF) and IDF spaces. This role requires selecting physical abilities such as using ladders, stairwells, moving power whips, racking, and selecting compute devices. The role is to implement a best-in-class standards regime for server room builds and transition to the local site to meet their business needs. Responsibilities:- Perform/validate IT heat-load calculations for MDF/IDF spaces using deployed hardware power draw (kW) and convert to BTU/hr.
