Job Description

Data Asset Delivery and Execution
 Accountable for end-to-end delivery of data assets, ensuring secure, reliable, and timely accessibility of prioritized data for business use cases, based on the backlog given and prioritized by the Data Asset Manager (DAM).
 Drives data ingestion and data asset build processes, including scoping and delivery with his own build squad (development team), and coordination across demand and run processes.
 Leads and coordinates technical build squads to deliver standardized, documented, and reusable datasets aligned with Datahub standards.

Data Design and Requirements Management
 Leads data needs understanding and design
 Identifies, documents, and maintains the data asset pipelines, their metadata
 Captures and managers use-case requirements (local and global scope).

Governance, Compliance, and Standards
 Ensures compliance with architecture, security, and governance requirements
 Coordinates validations across Data Owners, Business Process Owners, Data Privacy Office, Security, Design Authority
 Maintains required documentation (data contracts, mappings, data dictionaries, High Level Designs, sign-off of different parties)
 Applies the data policies defined by Data Governance during the lifecycle of the data assets

Stakeholder Management and Strategic Alignment
 Aligns with DAM on data prioritization, governance framework, and resource allocation.
 Engage sponsors and top management on Data Centric Principles vision
 Coordinates stakeholders across business, support functions, IT, and global data hubs to ensure alignment, standards adherence, and delivery consistency.

Data Quality, Operations and Product Enablement
 Owns data quality for delivered assets by defining KQIs and thresholds, monitoring data observability
 Supports run teams with root cause analysis and complex issue resolution.
 Ensures proper documentation of data transformations
 Enables user access through the data marketplace, keeps marketplace and user accesses up to date

Required Skills & Experience

5–10+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Governance, Data Product Ownership, or Data Asset Ownership
Strong understanding of data domains, data lineage, and end-to-end data flows
Experience owning a data domain and serving as the SME for how data moves through systems
Ability to document and map data flows, data pipelines, metadata, and system relationships
Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into actionable work for technical teams
✅ Familiarity with:

Azure DevOps
Databricks
Cloud data environments (Azure preferred)
Snowflake or similar data platforms

SQL skills for data exploration and validation
Experience with Power BI and Excel for reporting, status updates, and stakeholder communication
Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments
Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Comfortable managing challenging stakeholders and driving alignment across teams
Experience working with global and cross-functional teams

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Food Services, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Food Production industry experience
Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Privacy, GDPR, CCPA, DMA, or DSA regulations
Exposure to enterprise data platforms and large-scale integration initiatives
SAFe Certification
