In the conceptual phase, the Transmission Line Principal Engineer works with the Early Stage Project Manager to define and influence the project requirements and scope with the Development Group. The Transmission Line Principal Engineer must secure engineering consulting resources from a list of approved suppliers by developing a scope of work, securing bids, evaluating, and awarding work. The Transmission Line Principal Engineer must coordinate with other project stakeholders to develop and secure a route, support the engineering data, and permits necessary to design and build the line, including geotechnical and lidar data. The Transmission Line Principal Engineer is responsible for coordinating the engineering deliverables in support of competitive proposals, as well as design and construction of projects. A civil engineering client in Broomfield, CO is looking to hire a Data Engineer to support a data migration from on-premise to Azure cloud. This person will be working alongside infrastructure, ERP,... More and data teams as well as an external vendor to integrate ERP data into the cloud, and they will be responsible for data development and API integrations across several different reporting systems into an Azure Data Lake. Day to day this person will spend majority of their day in data development, supporting technical efforts, and running meetings with internal and vendor teams to ensure the project is progressing. We are looking for a senior data engineer that has previous experience moving data from on-premise to the cloud and are able to assist the current team with their expertise - any Azure-specific tools are preferred. This is a 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity that will require 1 day on-site per week. Training will be provided for the first 4 weeks and will be preferred to be on-site during this time before implementing a hybrid schedule. Subject matter expertise (SME) in one or more specific areas of remedial engineering, geology, or chemistry (e.g., site optimization, vapor intrusion/vapor migration, critical process analysis, risk and exposure assessment, HRSC, biological processes, PFAS, treatment system upgrades, and technology advancements, etc.). ? Demonstration of SME for the analysis, design, installation, and operation of treatment strategies for waste materials in soil, groundwater, air, sediment, drinking water, and providing engineering and scientific expertise to protect human health and the environment. ? Provide definitive knowledge of site investigation and remediation technology, HRSC technology providers and services, products, vendors, subcontractors, lab scale/bench scale testing firms, and other subcontractors, consultants, and team partners to create robust teams for complex problems. ? Ability to understand and drive Risk Management for remediation strategies, including development of Risk Registers, Risk Monitoring Plans, contingent activities, and Contingency Plans. ? Provide overall site management for both proposed and existing sites, including development of technical remediation approach, cost estimation, schedule development, identification of critical milestones, planning, reporting, and formal project management. ? Provide input and develop written technical reports for delivery to clients, perform quality control reviews, and maintain deliverables of high quality to meet internal and client requirements. ? Independently manage tasks and work with other Project/Program Managers on various environmental projects. ? Provide direction, instruction, training, and leadership to support staff as a mentor for your work/sites. ? Perform background research, gather information, and interpret laboratory and field data to support technical activities. Evaluate data reports and draw comparison of results with similar analysis. ? Attend site visits, observe, and evaluate client programs and activities. ? Follow organization policies and systems for purchasing, procurement, project management and reporting, business development, and marketing, and project financial status reporting to management. ? Remain highly cognizant of environmental regulations and new requirements in the U.S. ? Interact with clients and regulatory agencies as needed to support site work. Compensation: $140K to $160K per year annual salary.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
