More company is looking to grow with the additional of part time resource with specific experience in Battery Energy Storage System design and engineering, codes, NFPA 855, NEC 2023, California Building and Energy Codes 2026, NESC, and preparation of Construction and Permit Drawings. Acts as a subject matter expert on BESS technologies, including batteries, inverters, controls, and grid integration. You?ll bridge product development teams and regional project engineering efforts to ensure technical excellence and consistency across projects. This isn't a manufacturing role but one that will work with civil engineers, with a strong understanding of codes and standards and can implement in CAD drawings. Responsibilities:1)Prepare electrical plans layouts for project equipment, coordinate with Civil and other disciplines. 2)Prepare Single line Diagrams,. Project Lead - Mechanical Engineer

The ideal candidate will be highly client-facing, capable of leading mechanical engineering teams, coordinating across disciplines, and ensuring timely, high-quality project execution. This role blends technical oversight (30?40%) with project coordination and client management (60?70%), supporting projects from concept design through construction administration. Responsibilities include: ? Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams for assigned projects? Lead the mechanical engineering team, delegating work to Project Engineers and Designers while maintaining oversight of critical design elements? Develop and manage project work plans, schedules, and deliverables? Conduct feasibility studies and due diligence for greenfield and brownfield sites? Oversee the design and analysis of mechanical systems, including critical space cooling: multiple chiller topologies, air-cooled chillers, cooling distribution units, fan walls, dual-temperature loops, and dry cooler plants? Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards, including ICC (2018), ASHRAE, SMACNA? Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, including electrical, structural, civil, and architectural?
