This role will primarily focus on 1st and 2nd level support. Each field office has their own Desktop techs and this role will be a part of the Service Desk team - this team is encompassed of a virtual Tier 1, a virtual Tier 2 Application Support team and now onsite Tier 2 analysts. The onsite analysts can escalate internally to the virtual Tier 2 App team or to the Desktop team as needed. It is expected that this resource will be able to handle virtual and in-person live support. This resource will serve as one of the \"faces\" in person for the rest of the virtual service desk, so relationship building is key in this position. We want the end users to have a local onsite technician that they know. The firm is in the Top 50 largest law firms in the world; they focus on corporate, litigation, intellectual property, fund formation, public markets, employment, life sciences (#1 law firm for tech and life sciences IPOs), clean technology, real estate, financial services, retail, regulatory and energy practices. Majority of the week will be handling ticket escalations, technical research, special projects and then there will be 1 day a week on the Tier 1 phone queue to stay up to speed on customer service and the issues Tier 1 is facing. We are seeking folks who are customer service-oriented, high energy, professional, and eager to learn new technologies. The total team of agents will be handling roughly 400-500 contacts a day (roughly 12-14/hr); roughly 33% of tickets are calls into the Service Desk, and 67% are emails coming in that will be allocated for scheduled calls. This role will also have onsite walk-ups and deskside help as well. This individual will work closely with application teams, BI developers, and business stakeholders to ensure the data platform is reliable, scalable, and aligned with long-term organizational goals.Responsibilities:- Design and implement enterprise data architecture, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data integration frameworks- Develop and maintain data models, including defining conformed and reusable data objects across systems- Architect, lead, and oversee ETL processes, data ingestion pipelines, and transformation workflows- Integrate and consolidate data from ERP systems, business applications, and third-party platforms into a centralized data platformIdentify, analyze, and resolve data integrity and data quality issues, including performing root cause analysis- Establish and enforce data governance standards, including data access controls and security roles- Optimize performance of data platforms, databases, and reporting layers, including system audits and tuning- Support BI and reporting teams by designing scalable semantic and presentation layers- Partner with functional and technical teams to ensure alignment between data architecture and business requirements- Support release cycles, enhancements, and production support activities related to the data platform- Recommend and implement process improvements, technical standards, and data platform enhancementsCore Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and analytical tools- Build and support ETL processes, transformation pipelines, and data ingestion workflows- Analyze and troubleshoot data quality and integrity issues, implementing corrective solutions- Support data warehouse development, including integrating data from enterprise systems- Create and optimize the presentation layer and reporting performance- Assist with data modeling, semantic layer development, and report optimization- Support system audits, testing cycles, and release processes, including bug fixes and enhancements- Partner with functional teams to define security roles and data access controls- Provide ongoing production support and troubleshooting for BI tools and reporting systems- Recommend process improvements, technical enhancements, and reporting optimizationsWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
