Specific Job Duties?Maintain an accurate capacity planning model.?Create & maintain Company's ?Plan for Every Part? documents (Operating Plan Calculations) for new business quotes, new program launches, capacity updates, and service operations.?Develop and administer a plant layout process, built around Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) and Systematic Handling Analysis (SHA) principles, that optimizes material handling (to include material flow and storage requirements) and maintain associated drawings and documentation.?Hold plant layout reviews with production area owners?Assist with the development and maintenance of a plant wide scheduling and inventory system (WMS).?Apply time and motion study techniques.?Evaluate forklift truck and driver utilization and recommend truck assignment & driver manning optimization changes to production department management?Recommend, develop and help implement cost reduction ideas.?Assist with:odeveloping and researching improvement activitiesoCI project managementouse of lean toolsoevaluating "what if" changes to operational processes and product designobenchmark other companiesorevising IE support functions and tools to support continuous improvementoevaluating and providing feedback on idea submissions.?Perform process modeling and analysis using value stream tools and simulation software as assigned.?Participate in Six Sigma projects.?Comply with ISO14001, TS16949 and all Health and Safety policies and procedures.?May require working any shift, overtime, weekends and occasional travel.Compensation: $80-90k + bonus structureExact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
