Responsibilities: - Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand quality requirements. - Perform dimensional and visual inspections using appropriate tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges following applicable written inspection procedures, specifications, drawings and other pertinent instructions to plan and perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts. - Report inspection results in SAP for the Inspection Lot (I/L) and Quality Notification (QN) associated with the part in question. Upload pictures and supporting documentation in documentum for the Quality Notification (QN) associated with the issue and update the defect description accordingly. Communicate to the IM, SQE, Procurement and/or Logistics the finding and actions taken. - Collaborate with IM/SQE to address quality issues promptly. - Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety guidelines, and company policies. - Assist in developing and maintaining quality documentation, including inspection procedures and checklists. - Refer difficulties to PW supervisor.
