A client of Insight Global is looking for a night shift Mechanical Operating Engineer. This person will be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and... plumbing systems for assigned properties. Their duties will include maintaining a clean and safe environment, performing rounds, routine assessments, and day-to-day preventive and corrective maintenance. Their responsibilities also encompass painting, housekeeping, and general upkeep of their Data Center.Essential functions include performing plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks, maintaining heating equipment, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and air distribution systems. The engineer monitors and adjusts mechanical/pneumatic equipment, performs repairs, and ensures energy management. Additional tasks involve general repairs, preventive maintenance, inspections, and responding to emergencies.
