Job Description: Insight Global is looking for a Windows Platform Engineer responsible for designing, engineering, and operating enterprise Windows-based compute platforms across a hybrid environment... including on-prem data centers and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Design, build, and support Windows-based computer platforms across hybrid environments (on-prem + GCP).? Engineer and manage Windows Server infrastructure including domain services, enterprise compute, and application hosting platforms.? Lead and execute infrastructure builds, upgrades, and migrations across environments (on-prem to cloud, cloud-to-cloud).? Architect and support Active Directory environments, including domain services, trust relationships, Group Policy design, and authentication services.? Own and manage core infrastructure services, including internal DNS, DHCP, IP address management, virtual IPs (VIPs), and load balancing solutions.? Design, implement, and troubleshoot DNS zones, DHCP scopes, and enterprise name resolution services.? Engineer and support load balancing solutions (enterprise and cloud-native) for application traffic distribution, availability, and failover.? Translate high-level architecture into deployable, production-ready infrastructure solutions.? Engineer and manage virtualization platforms, including VMware (vSphere/vCenter), and compute services within GCP (GCE).? Implement and mature Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, or similar automation frameworks.? Drive automation across provisioning, patching, configuration management, and operational workflows.? Lead root cause analysis (RCA) efforts for platform incidents and implement long-term remediation solutions.? Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards, patch management policies, and configuration baselines.?
