An engineering client in the Tallahassee Area is seeking a skilled and certified Construction Inspector to support construction projects in the surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have an ICC... Structural Steel cert or a CWI. This role involves ensuring the quality and compliance of various construction activities, including reinforcing steel inspections, fill placement and monitoring, masonry inspections, new building construction, civil site improvements, and drainage systems.Key Responsibilities:Conduct reinforcing steel inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.Perform fill placement and monitoring to verify proper compaction and material quality.Carry out masonry inspections to ensure adherence to design and safety standards.Inspect new construction buildings and civil site improvements for quality and compliance.Oversee the installation and inspection of drainage systems.Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports.Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address any issues or discrepancies.Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
