1.Understands key networking components such as TV Headends, Earth Stations, Satellite and Off-Air Signal Acquisition, Aggregation, Encoding, Encryption, Middleware, Set Top Operation, and network... routing/switching.2.Accurately prepares timelines and costs for IPTV network expansion projects.3.Performs IPTV network utilization/capacity analysis as needed and provides recommendations and designs that create growth and additional network resiliency.4.Works with various equipment vendors extensively to make critical decisions dealing with equipment selection, implementation and troubleshooting of current and future network architecture.5.Timely creates and maintains Visio diagrams/drawings of the FTTx/IPTV Network Infrastructure and any associated elements. Timely creates and maintains detailed Methods of Procedure (MOP) documents useful to both the NOCC and other Operational Departments for the implementation, development, and maintenance of the IPTV Video environment.6.Consistently verifies that records are always correct and up to date.7.Schedules Network Activity requests/Maintenance Requests (MR) with Change Management/NOCC.
