About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of customer-facing and internal applications in a fast-paced travel/hospitality environment.... This role will partner closely with product, engineering, and delivery teams to define test strategy, execute testing across releases, and continuously improve QA processes. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on QA experience, deep familiarity with Jira, and working knowledge of API testing (a smaller portion of the overall workload).Day to Day? Own and execute end-to-end testing for web and/or mobile applications, including functional, regression, smoke, and UAT support.? Create and maintain clear test plans, test cases, and test execution evidence aligned to release timelines.? Work in Agile/Scrum teams to provide early QA input on requirements, acceptance criteria, and edge cases.? Log, track, and manage defects in Jira, ensuring high-quality documentation and strong follow-through through resolution.? Perform API validation/testing (estimated ~10% of overall effort) using tools such as Postman/Swagger or similar; validate request/response payloads and integration behaviors.? Collaborate with engineers and product owners to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and confirm release readiness.?
