This individual will be responsible for creating and overseeing a $60mm+ budget within the school district. They will also support all intergovernmental operations and business office functions, ensuring maximum support for the education program in alignment with the school and related parties. An overview of the essential responsibilities can be found below:Financial Management? Direct all fiscal operations: budgeting, accounting, financial reporting (local/state/federal).? Prepare and administer the school budget per established timelines.? Present budget to staff, School Committee, public, and Town Agencies with supporting data.? Provide monthly financial reports and highlight variances.? Manage expenditures within budget guidelines.? Reallocate resources in consultation with the Superintendent.? Supervise business and payroll offices (invoices, warrants, payroll).? Oversee procurement cycle to reduce administrative burden on educators.Department Oversight? Supervise Transportation and Food Services departments via support personnel.? Lead workshops on budget planning and administration for staff and administrators.Facilities \u0026 Capital Planning? Support long-range school improvements and capital projects.? Develop fiscal projections and tax impact statements.? Collaborate with Town Capital Improvement Plan Committee.Grants Administration?
