Insight Global is looking for a Sr Drafter to join a shipbuilding company in Marinette Wisconsin. They will be doing more of the modeling and the 3-D work They will be creating models and drawings of... ship structures They will also take on some of the responsibilities of a Tech 1 drafter (re above). They will be sitting on the detail design team that is responsible for updating models and issuing changes. They will be taking a 3D model and extracting it to 2D that is then sent to manufacturing. These models will be structural pieces of the ship (ceiling, stiffener plates). They will be Assisting with drawing revisions and updates This is all done in AutoCAD and Ship Constructor.
