A client is seeking a Protection & Controls Engineer for a long-term contract that can sit in Lexington or Louisville, KY. This position will join a team of engineers that support capital projects... associated with updating and building new substations for distribution and transmission projects. The daily functions of this role include reviewing prints/designs of substations, collaborating with internal and external partners, and some mentorship of engineers on the team. Additional projects this engineer could support include equipment replacements of aging infrastructure, controls and relay updates and relay replacements. They could also deal with environmental regulations for greenfield projects to ensure they are following codes.
