More Design team to help drive transformation and innovation by contributing insights and research outcomes that translate directly into business and product impacts. On a day to day basis, candidates can expect to partner with Industrial and UX Designers, the larger UX Research team to develop and execute UX Research projects/programs aimed at understanding customer needs, expectations, and experiences. Candidates will perform activities from early/generative user research, through rapid/iterative formative testing, and later evaluation.In this role it is important to have a critical thinking mindset and be able to challenge the use ofresearch techniques, and suggest techniques better suited to specific scenarios. Understanding when less-direct data gathering methods may be appropriate, e.g. observation vs interviewing when studying a business process and making those suggestions will be important for day to day interaction in this position. Being able to confidently recommend research methods and approached based on the Industrial Design business needs will be a key factor in finding success.
