We are seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to support a large-scale switch and wireless refresh project across North America. This role is hyper-focused on Cisco switching and Aruba wireless, with... More responsibilities spanning design review, staging/configuration, and weekend implementations. The engineer will work closely with a Project Manager, local rack-and-stack resources, and vendors (including AT&T) to technically lead switch refresh activities from end to end. Key Responsibilities: ? Review and validate network designs and drafts to ensure alignment with published standards and translate them into build materials and bills of materials (BOMs)? Stage and configure Cisco switches in the Houston office using existing configurations and approved design standards? Unbox, stage, configure, label, and repackage switches for shipment to remote sites (typically supporting 2?3 sites per week)? Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, onsite rack-and-stack resources, and other technical team members to execute refresh activities? Lead switch refresh implementations during scheduled maintenance windows (primarily Saturdays and Sundays), including: ? Removing legacy switches? Installing and repatching new switches?
