More projects, from bid solicitation through final submission and project turnover.The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial diving and marine construction, along with a strong background in project estimating, bid preparation, project planning, and competitive project bids. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to develop accurate production rates and project execution strategies. Key Responsibilities:? Manage all phases of the estimating and bidding process from bid issuance through final proposal submission. ? Review plans, specifications, contracts, and bid documents to ensure complete understanding of project scope and requirements. ? Prepare accurate take-offs and detailed cost estimates for labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and production activities. ? Develop project production rates, dive crew compositions, equipment requirements, and project durations in coordination with Operations Managers and field personnel. ? Identify project-specific risks, operational challenges, and logistical considerations and incorporate them into project estimates and execution planning. ? Determine appropriate means and methods for marine and underwater construction activities. ? Prepare and manage all bid documentation, subcontractor/vendor solicitations, clarifications, and required proposal submittals. ? Participate in internal bid reviews and ensure estimates are complete, accurate, and compliant with bid specifications. ? Coordinate and attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client meetings as required. ? Identify bidding opportunities through public bid platforms and existing client relationships.?
