RESPONSIBILITIES:?Owns entire process of the wire bonding program from start to finish across three tools, maintenance, programming, and troubleshootingoThis includes production wire bonding when applicable?Assists with line capacity planning and is responsible for yield improvements in collaboration with management and inputs from engineering sections globally ?Follows up on daily production issues, leads the team to increase yield, improving product quality and manufacturing cost reductions?Estimates manufacturing costs, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements?Using feedback from product quality provides corrective action and monitors implementation?Drives continuous improvement projects to elevate product performance in manufacturing?Ensures wire bonding equipment maintenance and repair?Takes total ownership of documentation and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)?Implements manufacturing-industry best known methods in support of continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency and effectivity of the production line?Analyzes work content for distribution to work centers and capacity requirements?Recommends and prepares process improvements which will facilitate manufacturing excellence?Assists product design teams to drive designs that meet all cost and quality goalsoReviews product requirements with design staff to ensure compatibility with processing methodsoPerforms Design for Manufacturability analysis on new products?Shares tactical level input to operators on manufacturability, training of and introduction to process improvements related to build and need?Responsible for dissemination of training to team membersoCommunicates as a team member, delivering process instructions across multiple, global BUsWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
