We expect our software team to be actively engaged in the whole delivery process, helping to decide what to build and how, as well as testing and writing functionality. We strongly emphasize collaborative working within the team. Logistics is a complicated business, so acquiring knowledge of the domain is essential. Our technical stack is mostly C#/.Net, hosted on Azure Cloud and DevOps. We also use Blazor and Javascript for our web application, and Xamarin (moving to Maui) for phone applications. We have a distributed system running over an event bus and a relational database. Maestro is an established codebase that must be kept reliable. We're aware of its strengths and weaknesses and are committed to a program of iterative improvement to make it easier to work with and more robust.
