This individual will join the Oil and Gas team within the larger Resources group and will be responsible for preparing mechanical drawings and performing mechanical design of piping systems for utility, industrial, and institutional power \u0026 energy facilities. The candidate will prepare site layout drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment arrangements, piping isometrics and orthographic drawings, composite arrangement drawings, bills-of-material, lists, sketches, section views, and other detailed drawings required for construction under limited guidance of a senior mechanical designer or engineer. This individual will mainly will primarily be using CADWorx but also might utilize Revit, Plant 3D, Civil 3D, and ACC as well depending on the project. This person will primarily be supporting midstream distribution and utility projects, so the ideal candidate has experience with metering/regulation, compression, over-pressure protection, storage, regulator stations, natural gas regulating facilities, meter \u0026 regulator facilities or related. Lastly, this person will be working within a BIM environment meaning he/she will be responsible for their discipline model and will generate the BIM elements, based on the Level of Development (LOD) outlined in the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project scope; Coordinate with engineers and designers of other disciplines like electrical, structural, and civil design practices throughout the course of the project; Monitor, improve, and maintain company standards and model health; and Coordinate the design with other discipline models through Design Reviews and 3D Coordination processes. This is a hybrid position requiring 3-4 days in the downtown Denver office to start, with flexibility as time goes on. It\u0027s a 6-month contract-to-hire with an hourly pay rate range of $36-$55 depending on the candidate\u0027s background and skillset. Full benefits are available to be opt-into while on contract.
