Essential Duties/ Responsibilities: *Method development for various pipeline products *Method validation activities *Dissolution development *Analysis of formulation and/or R&D samples, assist other departments in analyzing samples as requested. *Write SOPs, protocols and reports to describe department activities. *Perform technical transfer duties as needed. *Perform analyses in support of OOS or aberrant analytical results. *Contribute in viable ways to improve work procedures and methods in own work unit, contributing to overall efficiencies or quality of work/products. *Knowledge of cGMP guidelines, ability to maintain laboratory records according to cGMPs and GLPs. *Interact closely with project teams and across departments *Provide detailed and thorough peer review of data. *May serve as a contact for vendors and contract laboratories. *Participates in departmental meetings and teams as assigned by supervisor. *Adhere to safety guidelines and works in a safe manner. *Support lab management during investigations *Equipment maintenance and supportPerformance Competencies: *Pharmaceutical analytical experience with emphasis on sample analysis and proper documentation to release GMP materials. *Proficient with HPLC, Dissoluction apparatus, Karl Fischer water titration, GPC, particle size, pH, FTIR, Colorimeter, and/or UV-Vis spectrophotometry. *Experience with Agilent OpenLab *Knowledgeable regarding cGMP and GLP standards and application to laboratory work. *Proficient with troubleshooting, maintenance and minor repairs of laboratory equipment. *Familiar with use of word processing and spreadsheet programs. *Familiar with use of Waters software preferred. *Experience in proper use of lab notebooks according to cGMPs and GLPs. *Detailed understanding of USP/NF.
